Granted, I was on echale. Echale - as in the point when you're gas gauge dial is twitching pass the E. That point where that little light-shaped gas pump is flashing feverishly reminding you that yes, you do need gas.
So there I was. Watching the gas pump dial turn and turn. I purchased 15 gallons of gas today and paid a grand total of $71.80. Jimmny Christmas! That's just not right. I remember when I bought my car in 2001 and I was paying about $25 to fill up my tank.This thing is getting out of hand.
And the worse thing about all this - there is nothing we can do about this.
